This is a review of the Queens International 4 exhibition I am currently in. My work is mentioned.
Long story short:
I did the cover art for my college band's new album, "Wave Like Home." When Future Islands had their CD release party in Baltimore, I attended and met Sucan and Jay of Free Danger in Brooklyn, NY. They approached me and we exchanged info, SO.......
They offered me a solo exhibit at The Danger Den! The show was in August of 2008.
Bands: Future Islands, EARPWR....and others played as we all danced and almost seriously broke the deck!
Good times. Good times.
I just finished the album cover art for my great friend Judson Cowan's album Rites.
I had a solo exhibition, "a real real worrier warrior," at Lump Gallery from October to November 2006.
I met Adam Frezza's great friends Money and Hunt of "moneyhunt," at my opening with the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and they wanted to get some designs for their t-shirt bizz.....then they had a fabulous party at Solas in NYC for the shirts to be sold!
